Everything in SourceGeek happens in a workspace: its chats, projects, automations, templates, members, plan and credits all belong to it. Your account is created with one workspace, and you can be a member of several.
Switch or create a workspace
Click the workspace avatar at the top of the left rail to see your workspaces, search them or switch.
To create one, click Create workspace there, give it a name and click Create workspace. A new workspace has its own members, chats and billing. It doesn’t come with a free trial, so an admin chooses a plan for it under Settings → Billing before it can be used.
Workspace settings
Open Settings in the left rail. It starts on General, which every member can see; only admins can change it.
- Workspace details: the name and image
- External sources: your company website, jobs page and LinkedIn company page. SourceGeek reads them for your company context
- Agent approvals: how often SourceGeek asks before acting in other tools. See Questions and approvals
- Chat retention: see below
The other settings pages are Members, Usage, Billing, Referrals, Connectors, Connected apps (for Claude, ChatGPT and n8n), Company context, Memories and Bots.
Chat retention
Under Chat retention, an admin can choose to Delete inactive chats after 7, 30, 90 or 180 days or a year, or to keep them forever (the default).
Deletion runs every night for everyone’s chats in the workspace, including those in projects, and removes the files, sheets and documents made in them. Memories are kept.
Leave a workspace
Ask a workspace admin to remove you under Settings → Members. A workspace always keeps at least one admin.
Delete a workspace
An admin can delete a workspace at the bottom of Settings → General:
- It disappears for every member straight away, and its automations stop
- Its subscription is cancelled immediately
- All its chats, projects and files are deleted
This can’t be undone. You can’t delete your last workspace: create another one first.
