SourceGeek keeps two kinds of knowledge between chats:
- Memories: facts and preferences you share, such as “we never source from competitor X” or “write outreach in Dutch”
- Company context: what SourceGeek knows about your company, such as your offering, hiring process, open jobs and tone of voice
Memories
Remembered automatically
After an answer, SourceGeek saves facts and preferences you shared in your message. Each one appears under the answer as “Remembered: …” with Undo. Nothing about candidates is saved this way.
To turn this off, go to Settings → Memories and switch off Remember things automatically. The setting is yours and applies in all your workspaces.
You can also ask SourceGeek directly: “remember that our interviews are always on Thursdays” or “forget my preferred salary format”.
Personal and shared memories
Under Settings → Memories:
- Personal: only used in your chats. Nobody else sees them
- Shared with workspace: used in everyone’s chats in the workspace. Any member can add, change or delete them
Click Add memory to add one with a short key (for example outreach_language) and its value. Use the pencil and trash icons to edit or delete a memory, or Forget everything to delete all your personal memories in this workspace.
You can save up to 50 memories in each of the two lists; automatic memories don’t count towards that.
Company context
Company context is set up from your website during setup. SourceGeek looks it up whenever company knowledge helps, for example your tone of voice before it writes outreach or a job description.
Go to Settings → Company context to see and edit it. Only workspace admins can open this page.
- Refresh from website: reads your website and LinkedIn company page again. They’re set under Settings → General → External sources
- Add entry: add anything SourceGeek should know, such as your interview process or employer value proposition, with a title and text
Entries read from your website are marked Automatic and refresh daily. Once you edit one, it’s marked Edited and is never overwritten by a refresh.
