When SourceGeek produces something you’ll keep working with, it creates one of three things:
- Sheet: a table, such as candidates from a search, with a column for each detail
- Document: formatted text, such as a job description, outreach drafts, a report or a shortlist
- Page: a web page, such as a visual summary or a one-pager
Find them
A card appears in the chat when SourceGeek creates or updates one. Click it to open it beside the chat, or Ctrl/⌘-click to open it on its own page. On a computer, new ones open beside the chat automatically.
The Artifacts button at the top of a chat lists everything made in that chat.
Work with a sheet
- Edit a cell by clicking it. Changes save automatically
- Delete rows: select them and delete; you can undo
- Copy a range of cells, or Add to chat to bring them into your next message
- Details opens a candidate’s profile: fit, strengths and concerns, experience, education and skills. Use J and K (or the arrow keys) to move through candidates
- Your verdict: mark each candidate Advance, Maybe or Reject. The sheet shows how many you’ve reviewed, and Unreviewed only hides the rest
To add columns, sort or fill in more data, ask SourceGeek in the chat, for example “add a column with each candidate’s current company size”. To score candidates against a role, ask SourceGeek to score the sheet. See Score and shortlist.
Work with a document
Click into the text to edit it. Type / for headings, lists and other blocks. Changes save automatically; press Ctrl/⌘+S to save at once.
SourceGeek can propose changes instead of making them: they appear under Suggested edits, where you Accept or Dismiss each one.
Pages
Pages show a Preview and their Source. To change one, ask SourceGeek in the chat.
Who can edit
Anyone who can post in the chat can edit what was made in it. In a personal chat that’s only you; in a shared chat, everyone in the workspace.
Earlier versions
Every change by you or SourceGeek is kept. Open the versions list to see them, open one to view it, and click Restore this version to go back to it. The current version stays in the history, so restoring can be undone.

Shortlist review
A shortlist is a document with a dossier for each candidate. On its own page, the Candidate review panel lets each reviewer give their verdict per candidate:
- Advance, Maybe or Reject
- Reasons such as Too junior, Wrong location, Missing required skill, Find more like this or Do not contact
- An optional comment
Everyone sees each other’s reviews, and SourceGeek reads them when you ask it to refine the search or the shortlist.
