What the Claude connector doesCopy Anchor Link

The SourceGeek connector lets Claude use SourceGeek on your behalf. In any Claude conversation you can search candidates, companies and job postings, look up employee data (public LinkedIn profiles, companies, jobs and posts), save results as sheets, score a sheet against a job description and turn it into a shortlist. Claude can also read your workspace's memory and context, such as your tone of voice and company profile, and work with your projects.

The SourceGeek plugin adds recruiting skills on top of the connector, so Claude follows SourceGeek's workflows for sourcing, dossiers, outreach, job descriptions and more.

ProjectsCopy Anchor Link

Claude can work with your SourceGeek projects. It lists your projects and their tasks with each task's status, and reads a task's result and the sheets and documents it made, so you can ask "how far is my Senior Backend Engineer project?" from Claude.

Claude can also plan work as a project. It adds the tasks to an existing project, or to a new one, in To do; planning is free and starts nothing. Claude then shows you the plan, and once you agree it starts every task in one go. Claude asks your permission before it uses SourceGeek's Start SourceGeek on tasks tool, unless you set that tool to run without asking. Each started task runs in a chat of its own in SourceGeek and costs one chat run, as when you start it in the app. A task that waits on another starts by itself once that one is ready for review. Tasks report back in SourceGeek, in the project's chat, your inbox and by email.

1. In Claude, add the SourceGeek plugin or connector from the directory. In Claude Code you can also run claude mcp add --transport http sourcegeek https://chat.sourcegeek.com/mcp.
2. Sign in with your SourceGeek account when Claude asks.
3. Choose the workspace Claude may use and select Allow access.

Each connection is tied to one workspace. To use a different workspace, disconnect SourceGeek in Claude and connect again.

Searches, employee data lookups, enrichment and scoring use your workspace's credits, exactly as they do in SourceGeek, and each project task Claude starts costs one chat run. Reading your sheets, memory, workspace context and projects, and planning tasks, is free. You can follow usage on the Usage tab in your workspace settings.

Where results appearCopy Anchor Link

Sheets and shortlists that Claude creates are saved in your workspace in a thread called From Claude. Open them there to share them with your team, score them again or continue in SourceGeek.

Seeing and revoking accessCopy Anchor Link

Open your workspace settings and go to Connected apps. You see every app connected to the workspace (admins see everyone's connections) and can revoke any of them. A revoked app is signed out immediately; what it created stays in the workspace.

Data and privacyCopy Anchor Link

SourceGeek receives the tool calls Claude makes and their inputs, such as a search query or a job description. It does not receive your Claude conversations. For each tool call SourceGeek keeps an audit record with the tool name, the outcome and the time it took, for 90 days. Candidate data comes from third-party sources (CoreSignal, LinkedIn via RapidAPI and Parallel), as in the SourceGeek app. SourceGeek never sends LinkedIn messages or connection requests from the connector.
