Use SourceGeek from Claude: search, employee data, sheets, scoring and shortlists in claude.ai, the Claude apps, Cowork and Claude Code.
What the Claude connector does
The SourceGeek connector lets Claude use SourceGeek on your behalf. In any Claude conversation you can search candidates, companies and job postings, look up employee data (public LinkedIn profiles, companies, jobs and posts), save results as sheets, score a sheet against a job description and turn it into a shortlist. Claude can also read your workspace's memory and context, such as your tone of voice and company profile.
The SourceGeek plugin adds recruiting skills on top of the connector, so Claude follows SourceGeek's workflows for sourcing, dossiers, outreach, job descriptions and more.
Connecting
- In Claude, add the SourceGeek plugin or connector from the directory. In Claude Code you can also run
claude mcp add --transport http sourcegeek https://chat.sourcegeek.com/mcp. - Sign in with your SourceGeek account when Claude asks.
- Choose the workspace Claude may use and select Allow access.
Each connection is tied to one workspace. To use a different workspace, disconnect SourceGeek in Claude and connect again.
Credits
Searches, employee data lookups, enrichment and scoring use your workspace's credits, exactly as they do in SourceGeek. Reading your sheets, memory and workspace context is free. You can follow usage on the Usage tab in your workspace settings.
Where results appear
Sheets and shortlists that Claude creates are saved in your workspace in a thread called From Claude. Open them there to share them with your team, score them again or continue in SourceGeek.
Seeing and revoking access
Open your workspace settings and go to Connected apps. You see every app connected to the workspace (admins see everyone's connections) and can revoke any of them. A revoked app is signed out immediately; what it created stays in the workspace.
Data and privacy
SourceGeek receives the tool calls Claude makes and their inputs, such as a search query or a job description. It does not receive your Claude conversations. For each tool call SourceGeek keeps an audit record with the tool name, the outcome and the time it took, for 90 days. Candidate data comes from third-party sources (CoreSignal, LinkedIn via RapidAPI and Parallel), as in the SourceGeek app. SourceGeek never sends LinkedIn messages or connection requests from the connector.
