Bots
Bring SourceGeek to where your team already works, with bots for Slack and Microsoft Teams.
What bots can do
Once a bot is installed in your workspace, you and your teammates can talk to SourceGeek directly from your messenger: ask questions, kick off tasks and receive results without leaving the conversation.
Installing a bot
- Open your workspace settings
- Go to the Bots tab
- Choose Slack or Microsoft Teams and follow the installation steps
- Approve the requested permissions in your messenger
Linking your account
The first time you talk to the bot, you may be asked to link your messenger account to your SourceGeek account. This makes sure the bot acts on your behalf, with your permissions.
Removing a bot
You can remove an installed bot at any time from the Bots tab in your workspace settings.
