# Your account

Click your avatar at the bottom of the left rail and choose **Account**.

## Profile

Change your first and last name, profile picture and LinkedIn profile URL.

Your email address can't be changed. To change your password, use **Forgot password?** on the log-in page; see [Create your account](/registration#forgot-your-password).

## Personal instructions

Tell SourceGeek about yourself and how you like to work:

- **About you**: your role, the roles you hire for, your markets
- **How SourceGeek should respond**: for example "answer in Dutch", "keep it short" or "always include LinkedIn URLs"

Each can be up to 1,500 characters. They apply in your personal and shared chats. Click **Save settings**.

SourceGeek also remembers things you tell it in chats. See [Memory](/memory).

## Notifications

**Task emails** (on by default) emails you about [project tasks](/projects#knowing-when-something-needs-you) you haven't seen in the app within 10 minutes: when you're mentioned, when a task you follow needs your input or approval, or when a task you started is ready for review or failed.

## Theme

In the same menu, choose **Theme**: **Light**, **Dark** or **System**.

## Delete your account

Under **Danger zone**, click **Delete account** and confirm with **Yes, delete account**.

- You're signed out everywhere and can't sign in again
- Your Slack and Teams links are removed
- Your chats and workspaces stay, with your name shown as "Deleted user"

If you're a workspace's only admin, make someone else an admin first. See [Members](/workspace/members).
