# Free trial

## What's included

The workspace you get when you sign up starts on a free trial:

- **14 days** with full access to SourceGeek
- **200 credits** for the workspace, shared by everyone in it. See [Credits and usage](/workspace/usage) for what uses credits
- **Up to 3 members**

No credit card is needed. Signed up through a referral link? Your trial starts with extra credits. See [Referrals](/referrals).

Workspaces you create yourself later don't get a trial: choose a plan for them under **Settings → Billing**.

## Keeping track

The ring next to the send button shows how many credits you have used. Hover over it for the details. When most of the trial credits are used, a banner above the message box tells you how many are left.

## Upgrading

A workspace admin can choose a plan at any time:

1. Open **Settings → Billing**
2. Click **Choose a plan**
3. Pick a plan, monthly or annual billing, and the number of seats, then pay

See [Billing](/billing) for plans and prices. Your chats, projects, settings and data carry over.

## When the trial ends

When the 14 days are over, or the trial credits run out, the workspace can't start new work: chats, searches and [automations](/automations) stop until an admin chooses a plan. Everything you made stays in the workspace, and you can carry on as soon as you upgrade.
