To create a new account on SourceGeek, please click here and follow the steps below:
Step 1: Authorize using LinkedIn
The first to register for the platform is to authorize using your LinkedIn account. By using this method SourceGeek gets information about your name, email and profile-picture.
Step 2: Confirm name and email
After getting the user information from LinkedIn, the next step is to approve your name, email and profile picture.
You can always modify this information after the registration in the Settings.
Step 3: Install and run browser Extension
In order to create a stable connection between SourceGeek and LinkedIn, we ask you to install a browser extension. This extension is required to send and receive data from LinkedIn and also has the advantage that a login & paswd is not required within the SourceGeek app.
For Chrome users: please download and install the extension through the official Chrome Store:
For Microsoft Edge users: please use the same link as the Chrome browser because the extension for Chrome is compatible with Microsoft Edge
For Firefox users: there is no extension available yet. This will be created in the near future.
After installation, please open the extension in the top-right of your browser and click 'Refresh Session' once.
Important note: when creating the session the first time it is important to have, next to having SourceGeek open in a browser tab, also the LinkedIn Homepage open in a browser tab. And if you have LinkedIn Premium (Recruiter or Sales Navigator), also open these in a seperate tab.
You can continue and finalize the user registration while the extension is creating a stable session.
More information about the the usage of the browser extension can be found here.
Step 4: Acquire a seat
Once you have access to the dashboard, you still need to acquire a seat to start using the platform, create campaigns and such.
In order to buy a seat, go to the Settings and navigate to the Organizations Billing section. Click on 'Manage Billing' and acquire a seat for your own account.
Once the payment is done, you will return to the SourceGeek settings and within the 'Members' section you will see your account with a valid seat.
